Dennis Marsh, During his 21 years in the Music Industry, Dennis has won numerous awards since winning the NZ Entertainer of the Year - the most recent in 2009 - The Variety Artist Club’s NZ Male Artist of the Year Award – and at the National Country Music Awards he won the NZ Country Male Artist of the Year for the second year running and the NZ Best Selling Country Artist of the Year Award. Australian Awards have included several at the Tamworth CM Festivals and the Australian Overseas Artist Award in 2007.
Dennis has released 22 albums to date, with 3 Platinum and 10 Gold to his credit making him, arguably, New Zealand’s top Album Award winner of all times.
Performances have included tours of the North and South Islands of New Zealand several times, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, Norfolk Island, and the USA.
For many years, large tour groups from New Zealand have all enjoyed having Dennis as their host on trips to Norfolk Island and more recently, the P& O Pacific Sun cruise.
At a sell-out Farewell Show in October, Dennis was awarded another Platinum Album by Rajon Music Distribution Group and was also presented with a letter of recognition from the Minister for Tourism on Norfolk Island for his musical contribution as well as his promotion of the Island.
March 24 – First cruise gig on the P&O Pacific Pearl – Kiwi Discovery. Dunedin, Akaroa, Picton, Wellington, and to Sydney/Australia.
March 2011 ~ Release of ‘Maori Songbook’ by Rajon and Sony Music combined, made Number one on the NZ National Music Charts. Debuted at No 3 ~ 2nd and 3rd week it went to No. 2 and then Number one in the fourth week. After 8 weeks, it is still sitting in the Top 5 albums in the country.
In-store promotions at The Warehouse venues throughout the Nth Island during the success of this album.
March/April ~ Appearances on Maori TV ~ Hyundai Code and the ANZAC show with Chris Powley and Friends. Also on Maori TV News.
Invitation to go to Nashville/USA to the History of Country Music Conference in May 2012.
3 June 2011 – Inducted into the NZ Country Music Hall of Fame in Gore Dozens of Radio interviews throughout the country – both mainstream and community radios i.e. Paul Holmes, Willie Jackson, and John Tamahere, Ewing Stevens.
Dennis’ charisma, sense of humour and unique voice, make him one of New Zealand’s most popular entertainers, both on the stage and off.

• 2011 Maori Songbook album (GOLD/PLATINUM) This album went on to reach Gold and Platinum Status and was the second to the group Six60 as the highest selling album of all genres in New Zealand for that year.
• 2011 NZ Country Music Association Legend of the Year at the National Country Music Assn Awards.
• 2011 Star on Boulevard of dreams, Orewa.
• 2011 Inducted into the Gore Country Music hall of fame.

• 2013 NZ Country Male Artist of the Year at the National Country Music Assn awards.
• 2013 A huge honour for Dennis to be the Face of the Norfolk Island $1.65 stamp for the 20th Anniversary of the Norfolk Island Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year.
• 2015 Lest We Forget (GOLD) Dennis’ tribute to ANZAC personnel, was a major success in April 2015, reaching Gold status.
• 2018 Recording Industry Award for over 300,000 album sales
• 2018 30th Album, Backyard Party, debuted at #1 on the NZ Music Charts, as have his last 4 albums. Gold after 3 weeks.
