Nominate a legend

Every star begins with someone putting a name forward. Tell us who deserves one and why.

What we look for

  • A significant, sustained contribution to New Zealand entertainment — music, screen, stage or broadcasting.

  • A body of work recognised by peers, audiences or the wider industry.

  • A connection to New Zealand (Aotearoa), whether by birth, upbringing or the work itself.

  • Nominations may be made for individuals or groups, and posthumously.

Nominations are reviewed by the Walk of Fame committee. Successful nominees are invited to an unveiling ceremony in Orewa, held several times a year.
